How to Delete Your Data
If you connected your Instagram or Facebook account to Social Candy and wish to have your data removed, you have three options:
- Through Social Candy: Log in to your account → Settings → Delete Account. This will remove all your data including connected channels and posts.
- Through Instagram/Facebook: Go to Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites → find "Social Candy-IG" → Remove. This revokes our access and triggers automatic data deletion.
- By email request: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and your registered email address.
What Data We Delete
- Your account information (name, email)
- Connected Instagram and Facebook access tokens
- All scheduled and published posts created through Social Candy
- Analytics data associated with your account
- Any other personal data stored in our system
Processing Time
Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.
